Hey there, I'm That's René, a 72-year-old rock rebel with French roots and a German heart. Known as The Time Traveler, I've been crafting tunes that span decades, smooth yet edgy, just like life itself.

My musical journey's been shaped by the likes of Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Dire Straits, and Pink Floyd. Their influence echoes in my songs, blending with my own unique voice that's been honed over years of experience and adventure.

Before I hit the stages, I was a wanderer. Picture this: a young René in a Volkswagen van, crisscrossing India, East and South Africa, soaking up cultures and sounds. I even spent a few years in the French West Indies, letting the Caribbean rhythms seep into my soul.

Back in Germany, I fronted my own band, rocking medium-sized stages and later, stripped it down to a country/americana duo. But the road called again, and for the last 12 years, I've been living my best life in Tenerife, Canary Islands.

Here, I've reinvented myself as a solo artist and producer. In my own recording studio, I'm constantly creating, pushing boundaries, and exploring new sounds. My music's found its way onto Spotify and Apple Music, racking up over 250,000 plays annually - a number that still humbles me every time I think about it.

My sound? It's a journey through time, a blend of all the places I've been and the stories I've lived. It's rock with a dash of rebellion, seasoned with wisdom, and served with a side of nostalgia.
